The Shift Captains are a group of WashU students dedicated to service and making a difference in our community. They lead shifts with the responsibility, integrity, and dependability expected of truly great leaders. Out Leadership Team is composed of Shift Captains who go above and beyond to make FRN WashU the best it can be, accepting higher responsibilities and directing the rest of the Shift Captains with new ideas and proven standards of quality.
ARJUN NAIR
External President
Arjun Nair is a senior majoring in Biology and minoring in History. In his free time, he enjoys watching basketball. His favorite food thing to cook is anything with chicken, but especially chicken fajitas.
WENTING YU

Wenting Yu is a junior at WashU majoring in Psychology with a minor in Computer Science. She started eating at a very young age and hasn’t stopped since, a passion supplemented by her interest in cooking and baking. Her favorite things to make are banana bread and different soups.
RIYA CHADHA

Riya Chadha is a senior at WashU majoring in Biology and minoring in Anthropology. Her favorite thing to cook is vegetable pasta, but she loves trying different recipes. She also loves watching movies and exploring different places.

Lauren McShea is a junior at WashU majoring in Math & Economics with a minor in American Culture Studies. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and card games. Her favorite thing to cook is rice and beans, and she always prefers food when it's in a bowl!

Sam Lu is a senior at WashU majoring in Chemical Engineering with minors in Computer Science and Economics. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching basketball and spending time outdoors. His favorite things to cook are fried rice and pasta.

Elysia Quah is a junior at WashU majoring in Chemical Engineering and minoring in Computer Science. In her free time, she enjoys building legos, puzzles, and cooking! Her favorite food is anything with noodles and favorite thing to cook is Pad Thai.

Owen Guo (he/him) is a junior at WashU majoring in Biology and minoring in Computer Science. In his free time, he likes to cook, dance, and play video-games. He also loves to eat, and no leftovers ever get thrown out with him around.

Sarah Zhang is a sophomore at WashU majoring in Biology. She enjoys crocheting, hanging out with friends, and cooking. Her favorite food to make is soy glazed salmon.
JENNIFER SONG
Nutrition Chair
Jennifer Song is a junior at WashU majoring in Biology on the Genomics and Computational Biology track and minoring in Medical Humanities. She enjoys dancing and cooking, especially her mom’s recipes (favs: egg and scallion crepe and spicy mian pi). Her hot take is that cheese and egg are the best toppings for ramen.
